From Geneva’s Watches & Wonders floor to an intimate celebration in Madrid, the Maison has spent the year “reloading” the Big Bang—twenty years after All Black rewrote the rulebook, fifteen years after Magic Gold proved gold could be scratch-resistant—and reminding collectors why the Art of Fusion still matters.
Here is what has been happening, and three of the watches that matter most.
Geneva, then Madrid
Watches & Wonders Geneva (April 2026) became Hublot’s technical statement of the year. Rather than adding another louder silhouette, the Manufacture re-engineered the openworked Big Bang Unico from the inside out. The dual anniversary framing—20 years of All Black and 15 years of Magic Gold—gave the novelties a narrative spine: ceramic discipline, proprietary gold, and an in-house Unico chronograph asked to perform in plain sight.
Madrid (May 2026) carried that story onto the football pitch of culture. Hublot CEO Julien Tornare and brand ambassador Kylian Mbappé unveiled the first limited Big Bang Reloaded created with the player—joined by figures from sport and cinema in an evening that felt like a Hublotista gathering as much as a product drop. The message was consistent with the watch itself: ambition, precision, and the discipline to trust yourself.
Together, the two moments bookend Hublot’s 2026 mood—technical confidence in Geneva, emotional fusion in Madrid.
Three new releases worth knowing
Big Bang Reloaded
The permanent Big Bang Reloaded is the year’s platform piece: a 44 mm chronograph rebuilt so the integrated HUB1280 Unico flyback calibre—column wheel visible on the dial side, roughly 72 hours of reserve—becomes the architecture, not the afterthought. A two-part bezel lets materials contrast more sharply; the multilayer open dial shows more of the movement’s patented engineering than previous Unico generations.

Five core editions map Hublot’s material vocabulary—Titanium Ceramic, All Black, Blue Ceramic, Dark Green Ceramic, and Magic Gold—each with the One-Click strap system and 100 metres of water resistance. It is the Big Bang for collectors who want substance to match the silhouette: Art of Fusion, rewritten for mechanical transparency.
Spirit of Big Bang Moonphase Impact Sapphire
The Spirit of Big Bang Moonphase Impact Sapphire is Hublot at its most material-obsessed: a 42 mm tonneau case in polished sapphire, with diamonds set directly into the crystal for the first time in the Maison’s history, and shards of rare crystallised osmium catching light across the dial.

Limited to just 30 pieces, it houses the skeletonised automatic HUB1770—large date at 1 o’clock, moonphase at 6—so lunar theatre and extreme gem-setting share the same stage. It is less a daily chronograph than a cosmic objet: Impact architecture rewritten for sapphire, scarcity, and collectors who want the Art of Fusion taken to its technical edge.
Big Bang Reloaded Kylian Mbappé
Limited to 200 pieces, the Big Bang Reloaded Kylian Mbappé is the Genève-to-Madrid bridge. Polished and microblasted white ceramic meets 18K King Gold in a 44 mm case; the bezel carries his mantra, “Trust Yourself,” at 6 o’clock, while a King Gold 10 on the anthracite skeleton dial nods to his iconic number. The same HUB1280 Unico flyback beats beneath—flyback chronograph performance with a 72-hour reserve—paired with interchangeable King Gold–toned fabric and black-and-white rubber straps.

It is Hublot’s first limited edition conceived with Mbappé after years as ambassador: personal codes without losing the Reloaded technical brief. For enthusiasts who follow both football and haute horology, it is the emotional centrepiece of the launch season.
Big Bang One Click Joyful Steel Purple
Not every 2026 novelty needed a chronograph thunderclap. The Big Bang Joyful Steel Purple extends last year’s Joyful colour story into violet—intuition and balance, in Hublot’s telling—with a refined 33 mm steel case and a bezel hand-set with 36 matched amethysts around a bright white dial. The self-winding HUB1120 offers about 40 hours of reserve; the patented One-Click system swaps between purple-accented and solid white rubber straps in a gesture.

It is the lighter, more wearable counterpoint to Reloaded: colour, gem-setting, and everyday ease for someone who wants Hublot’s signature presence without the full Unico architecture. A graceful gift, and a vivid everyday companion.
Why this year matters for collectors in India
Hublot’s 2026 chapter is unusually coherent. Geneva proved the Manufacture can refine icons through mechanics and materials; Madrid showed that partnerships still work when they are written into the dial with honesty. Whether your eye goes to the Reloaded’s open chronograph theatre, Mbappé’s limited King Gold ceramic story, or the Joyful Purple’s amethyst calm, the through-line is the same: fusion with intention.
